32 WEEKS!!! DID YOU CATCH THAT!
Wow today has been an interesting day. I had my US today and we are having a BOY! Apparently a BIG BOY!! hahaha.. they said he's fat. At the beginning of my pregnancy my due date was 9-21-2009. My first US the baby measured a week behind. So my midwife decided to change my due date to 9-28. I was SOOO bummed. In pregnancy time a week later felt like several months. Seriously.... I am NOT being dramatic. So anyway, I have questioned it since she changed it. I have compared this baby's US to Brody's and he has always measured a little bigger, and even been more developed at times then Brody was. So anyway I have noticed on a few of my papers since I changed clinics that they had my original due date written down. I started to wonder what IS my due date? So today I discussed it with the US tech. It was an interesting US because she measured the baby and he currently weighs right around 4lbs 13oz. She did say that this could be off a little but she thought it was fairly accurate. This measurement puts the baby measuring at 33 weeks!! WOW!! Even for 33 weeks he is still a little big. After reviewing my information LMP, all of my Ultrasounds, etc. They told me that they feel my due date is 9-21. My midwife said she is surprised that the midwife would have changed the original date since the ultrasound was off only by 6 days. She said that it's not uncommon for the first ultrasound to vary 5-7 days. If it was more significant they could see changing the original due date but she felt that 9-21 was probably pretty accurate. SOOOOO I have skipped a week, well not really but it kind of feels that way. My due date is now 9-21 and I am 32 weeks!!! WAHOOOOOOOOO..... ** running around carefully doing the happy dance.***
As far as having a boy goes... I am really excited. The tech said she was 100% confident we are having a boy. :) It looked pretty obvious to me too. There was one shot of US that was so cute. It was of his face and the umbilical cord was by his face and head so it was hard to see his whole face but you saw just his lips and noise. It was cute because he literally looked like he was pouting. It was one of the cutest pouts I've ever seen. Now I start going to the clinic every two weeks and then once I hit 36 weeks I will be going every week. It's really hitting me how fast it's coming and I can't wait to be done being pregnant and holding this darling boy... I AM HAVING A BOY! YEAH. Also we put his crib together this weekend. It feels good and weird to see a crib in Brody's room next to his toddler bed. However, I like that its becoming more real. All that to say it was a good day, and a good visit. Everything else looked great. The heartbeat was 150 bpm.

30 WEEKS!!

WOOT WOOT! 10 weeks to go and 1 week until my US! I am trying not to get my hopes up that we will get a definate answer regarding the sex of the baby. Now that I am so far along it's possible they might not be able to tell. So we will see. I am exciting that I am 3/4 of the way done. Now we just have to figure out what we will name this kid if it's a boy. We have had a hard time with names this time around and I feel as though I am going to be lucky if we come up with a boys name. Anyway, again if you all have any fun suggestions for boy names throw them my way!! ;)

Things you hear in a house with boys!
I have to give credit to Melissa for this because she always posts these and I love them! Anyway I finally have one that I thought was post worthy!
Don and Brody were playing and and I hear Don say to Brodes!!
"There's NO kissing in FOOTBALL!!" Hahaha....
conversations with Brody
Mommy:" Brody are you ready for a brother or sister?"
Brody: HUGE SMILE - "brother, sister" "I'm ready"
Brody climbed up into our bed and he had a boogie hanging out of his nose.
Mommy: "Are you going to wipe your boogie on daddy's pillow."
Brody kisses daddy and leans in to kiss me. Rubbing his face on my arm
and shoulder instead.
Mommy: "Are you going to wipe your boogie on me?"
Brody laughs: "Yeah"
Mommy: "You DID wipe your boogie on me!"
88 days left, July 27th, 140, and anything else.
88 days left. :) Less then 13 weeks. :) It's funny because when I think of my pregnancy in these terms I can't believe that is all I have left. Then when I think of 2 1/2 more months that sounds long! Weird huh?Anyway I thought about blogging when I hit 100 days or less, then I thought I would do it when I hit 90 days but I kept forgetting. Here we are 88 days. Officially less then 3 months away! I am starting to feel as though my pregnancy is picking up speed. I never thought I would be excited for labor and deliver but after 7 months of pregnancy God certainly has a way of making us with for it. :)
Many of you have been wondering and waiting. WE have been waiting and now I finally have a date. :) July 27th @ 10am we will have our 4th, yes 4th, and FINAL ultrasound. I am excited and nervous that this baby is going to be wound up to tight to show us anything but we will see. They are checking to make sure that everything is good with the amniotic fluid. I am not worried at all about the baby. I feel so peaceful in that regard and that feels great.
I had a checkup yesterday which seemed like forever since my last one. So I was excited to go in and hear that heartbeat. 140 bpm. My mom is convinced we are having a boy just because of the heart rate. Anyone out there have any boys with high heart rates or girls with low heart rates? I don't really think that this is a valid way of knowing the sex. It's so funny because I met a lady recently at a garage sale who was very interested in pregnancy and asking me how it compared to my first. By the time I left she was convinced I was having a girl. I guess everyone has there own ideas. Only time will tell.
In other news, well I don't know that there is much else. I have been busy editing pictures. Brody is busy learning to talk. Says new things everyday and sometimes just surprises the heck out of Don and I. He is a lot of fun somedays and other days I definately understand the term terrible two's. Who loves to tell us what to do, especially stop it! Which is not my favorite. The other day we were outside, he had been standing right beside me and within seconds was gone. I couldn't figure out where he had went and the next thing I know Brody is running full speed down the middle of the road. I never had been more freaked out! It doesn't take long. I didn't even know he could run so fast, I had to run full speed just to catch him.
Don is working and we spend a lot of time as a family. We went to the beach the other day with my sister. (pictures to come) The other night we went to babies r us and registered. I am having a shower in August and decided to register as there are a few things that we could use with this baby that we never had with Brody. It felt good to get that done. Otherwise we are enjoying summer. Sitting outside together, eating ice cream :), and just hanging out!
