Maybe he is starting to get it...??
Yesterday I asked Brody where the baby was, AND he pointed to my tummy!!! SO CUTE!
HOUSTON... We have movement!!!
A friend said to me she thought maybe she had felt her baby move a few weeks ago and because someone said it to me I was brave enough to say ME TOO! However, honestly I haven't felt confident until the last few days. I have officially felt this little darling all over the place. :) Well NOT ALL OVER THE PLACE but the baby moves a lot. I love it!!! I LOVE IT!!

Oh the Joy!
I slept until 1pm today. :) Actually it's 2pm and I am still in bed. I wish I was sleeping but my body hurts to bad to sleep. I can't say I slept all the way through 1pm. I ate breakfast and went back to bed, took a bath and then went back to bed, got up ate homemade soup and am now back in bed. I started getting sick Friday night with another cold. This one for sure has wiped me out, full with body aches and fever. Poor Don has so much homework to do and I haven't been able to help much at all. He has been doing his homework after Brody goes to bed, staying home late and then getting up early with him to allow me to rest as much as possible. Then Janet came down stairs today to put something away. She didn't realize I was home. She asked how I was feeling and insisted on brining me homemade soup. It was so sweet and thoughtful. Several minutes later she comes downstairs with yummy homemade soup on a little tray with a mug of green tea and did I mention that the mug had mom written all over it, crackers, and grapes. Seriously... it was so thoughtful. Anyway, just thought I would write a quick thank to those that are taking such good care of me. Primarily my husband who is in school right now with loads of homework and is taking on his homework, the boy, the house, and taking care of me. l love you.
I will update again as soon as I can. I have a belly pic for 13 weeks, and tomorrow I will take 14 weeks. I seem to be a week behind. hahaha... I will get there. I also have some fun pictures of us playing outside yesterday. Hope you all are well and had a great weekend!!

Double YUCK!!
It's 9pm and I just need to go to bed to be done with this day. I have a slight blood disorder. Not a big deal but they keep an eye on my hemoglobin while I am pregnant because it gets low. Today at my appt. I had to get my blood drawn because last time I talked her out of skipping it. I hate getting my blood drawn. Anyway, I am going to pay for it. My hemoglobin dropped over a point. I am sure I am going to get a lecture. I know that I need to be eating iron rich foods. So I decided to google and this is what came up on the list.....
cockles boiled
black pudding??? what is black pudding
liver - no thanks.
fish PASTE.... WHAT??
FAGGOTS... there are just to many things wrong with this... one of them being it sounds to close to maggots.
Kidney - enuf said
venison - I could do this if Don could hit a deer!! Whoops, poor Don, did I just say that...
HEART..
liver pate
liver sausage
Goose
pheasant
canned anchovies
tongue ox
canned sardines.
Do humans actually eat this stuff???
Yuck!!
Today was a day of hormonal emotions gone awry! I have had a very up and down day. A very good friend of mine got engaged last night and I am ecstatic for them. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat again today, 158 bpm. It was beautiful. I love love that sound. However, the rest of the day was challenging and exhausting.
Brody has been sick for a few days. Yesterday he had a fever and has been sick with diarrhea. So he hasn't quite been himself. He seemed to be on the mend and the day went on. His spirits and energy level lifting. However, when I got home from my appt. I was ruffling his hair and I felt a bump. I looked to see what it was and he had a tick on him. I tried pulling it off and it would not come off. I read that you should grab a tweezers and get as close as you can to the skin and pull it off slowly. I tried this and this guy was really stuck to his head. I started to feel a little nervous about it. My MIL was here and was helping me hold Brody, when I tried again I didn't I ended up breaking the body off but the head remained. It was awful!! I tried a few more times to get the head out and this little bugger wasn't getting out. I had to take him into urgent care and Brody's adopted Grandma came with us. It was such a blessing to have someone there with me. It was an awful experience. The Dr. was unable to remove all the tick. It makes me sad to think that this thing is still in his head. The Doctor thought it was best to treat his as if he has Lymes Disease because he believes that the tick had probably been there for several days and Brody was most likely exposed. It's very unsettling. I would greatly appreciate your prayers that his body is protected from it and that the antibiotics will get rid of any trace of it. Also for me, I need to relax and breath. I really saw my hormones kick into high gear today. I took some things that happened very personally and was really hurt today by a couple of people and am so worried about Brody. I know I need to relax and give everything over to the Lord. OOOHHHHHH...... I love being emotional. Thanks for listening and for your prayers.

See what whining does for you!!??
Hahaha.... my friend Melissa threw together that fun new header for me! Isn't that fabulous. Seriously, she writes to me stating that she made a quick header for me to show me how easy it is. Well it was easy for her. I can't even figure out how to get the brushes downloaded. In the meantime, I love it. I think it's totally me and the colors are so fun. Thanks Miss. ;)
The Dells and more!
Ok so I meant to have the story at the beginning and then the pictures but I did it wrong so you will have to scroll down to read about our trip but here are the pictures. Enjoy. :)

Miss Lena. Our friends middle child. She is a doll. so expressive.

It was so fun to see the kids interact with the animals. Lena went right inside
and walked among them. So brave. But I suppose she is around them
all the time.
What a sassy doll!

We got back from our rendevous yesterday. It was fun. The Dells was so fun with Brody. It was completely exhausting but so much fun. He loved the waterpark. He was so big and brave. He went down the kiddie slides by himself over and over again. Even though they were kiddie they still landed in a deep pool of water with a strong current. I would send him down and Don would catch him. Don got more brave and would let him go under when he first came into the pool. Brody would come up smiling and signing more more. This has been our second trip to the dells since we got married and we always look forward to going back. We stayed at the Great Wolf lodge and it was really fun. So much to do there. However, Don and I decided if we ever went back we would stay at the Wilderness Resort. The rooms are more comfortable. The bedding and the mattress were so uncomfortable. We slept awful at the hotel which is too bad. BUT like I said we had fun. I didn't take ANY pictures at the dells. Isn't that awful. Seriously who does that? I felt weird carrying around my big ol camera in the waterpark. I didn't want to get arrested. Hahaha... and outside of that there wasn't a lot to take pictures of. However when we went to visit our friends I got some cute pictures outside one day. Our friends live at a camp. The husband, Paul, has worked there for a long time. They have a house on the camp grounds and right outside there back door they have a bunch of animals that are very tame and you are able to pet some of them. They have lama's, ponies, sheep, 3 baby lambs. It was fun to see the kids with the animals. Brody calls every animal right now a sheep. :) Haha.. and he gets scared of them. I got to go into Lake Geneva one day and run around the shops which was fun. Don got to do some biking with his buddy. I felt bad for him though because they wanted to go off roading but all the trails were closed still. So they ended up biking around camp. Overall it was somewhat relaxing but it really was good family time. I definately think the most fun was watching Brody at the waterpark. What a guy. Here are a few pics from our trip. :)

Catching up
Ok. So here are some pictures from the weekend that my parents came. It was so fun. We spent the day at the zoo. I will post an update soon about this last weekend along with more pics. There will also be a 13 week belly pic to come. Stay tuned. :)
Here is the family. Starting on the left is my neice K, with her dad, mom and baby A. Then you have my stepmom and my dad. My little sister with her boyfriend J, and then of course Don, Brodes, and me. If you look closely you can totally see the baby belly. :)

This was in the stinky house with the giraffe's and zebra. Seriously.
