Remembering Brody

In some ways I am a very typical "first time mom". However there is one way that I am not. I am terrible at writing down the details of Brody's firsts. I don't remember the last time I wrote in his baby book. It's quite sad. However, now that I blog I love that I can document it here. Still not great at it though. Brody is saying and doing funny things almost everyday. I am constantly thinking I need to blog that so I don't forget it. So here I am finally remembering and hope you enjoy in remembering some of the little things that Brody is doing now.

Favorite words: Hi,  HEWWOO (hello), bye, wow, sazie (sophie)
Wow is a word that he uses if I give him coloring crayons and paper. Or when he is real hungry and is excited when I give him food. He also uses it if he sees a matchbox car go really fast!! Or anything else that he thinks is exciting. He says it will  A LOT of excitement... :)

He is really enjoying coloring right now. We haven't had much for color crayons until recently. We sit and the table and color. I am always telling him he is doing a good job coloring on the paper. Well the last few times he has been coloring he sits there and says "Good job" to himself!! Hahaha... I am so glad that he has the ability to give himself positive self talk!!

Recently Brody and I were thrift store shopping. He was talking to the sales lady with his usual hi bye routine and she fell into his cycle. He says hi, then she says hi. I am not sure why but everyone falls for it again when he says it again and again. Then he switches it on them and says bye and then they say bye. The lady was getting quite a kick out of him. She kept saying "You're a funny boy." And finally Brody says to her "I cute." As if to say I am not funny, I cute. :) What a guy.

I love the update on Brody! I am a terrible mom, in that I am so unorganized and forgetful! I need to be better about writing things down...even in the bloggy world! Urgh...life is so demanding! :)

Thanks for the updates! I can't wait to see you guys (SOON) so I can hear him jabber away!
