Frugal Friday

Here it is Friday again! Any ideas on what I should write about? Hahaha... I am actually kind of serious. I am a tad sleep deprived but I am here and this week I actually remembered. So I thought I would talk a bit about laundry. It's been fun to research and think about being frugal because there are so many things that we can do that we don't even think about. So here are a few tips. I picked up the tip to cut the dryer sheets in half! It works just as good as a whole sheet. I also buy the dryer sheets at Costco when I get a coupon so I feel like I am getting a really good deal. When I wash my clothes I use half the amount of detergent that is recommended, again its just as effective as the recommended amount but my detergent last longer. Last but not least, I wash almost everything in cold water. I barely use hot, or warm water and this saves too! So there you go. That's all I got for you this week. Stay tuned.

smart aleck! Today would not have been FUN FUN FUN if Brodes and I had come along. I bet you he would have screamed the majority of the time. He has to be feeling good and be in a good mood not to scream in the car. It wouldn't have been pretty. AND I would have felt horrible if he would have gotten any of you sick.

I'm loving your frugal Fridays...as you know...

I was told by a dishwasher guy once to use about a teaspoon of the powder and not to fill up the powder dispenser. Same as washing clothes...a longer cycle and less detergent will clean your really filthy dishes better than a short cycle and loads of detergent :)
