Thank You doesn't cut it.
I know I have been writing a lot about Brody turning one. Well you will just have to deal with it. It's all I can think about. Especially as I am making his video. Today marks one year ago that I went into labor. It started on the 16th in the evening, on the morning of the 17th I went to the hospital and he was FINALLY born the morning of the 18th. I can't believe it's already been a year. Well enough of that, more of that will come later. :) As I have been working on Brodes photo montage I have been looking through all of his photos. An amazing friend gave Don and I a gift that doesn't feel like thank you is ever going to be enough, there is nothing that could repay her for what she gave us. My friend Melissa said that if it worked out she would come and take pictures of Brody's birth. I would say that I am pretty modest. However, I put all my insecurities, inhibitions aside and shared our birthing experience with her and her camera. She has 3 kids, and yet agreed to do her best to be there. She came around 8pm on the 17th and stayed with us through the night. If it wasn't enough for her to capture amazing beautiful pictures of the birth of our son, she battled in prayer for me as I was discouraged and tired, she encouraged me, and she kept Don and I company. Her presence was invaluable to the experience of the birth of my son. She has done this for many friends and family and I consider us to be so richly blessed that she gave us such a priceless gift. Words can't express my gratitude and how much your friendship means to me. Thank you, I praise God for you.

Birth is an amazing experience, and to share it with a friend is invaluable! I hope to witness a friend's birth someday, because I can't seem to watch my own!
It is awesome that Melissa was your prayer warrior and captured priceless, and amazing moments! The pictures of the clock were a special touch!
Happy "labor day" to you! :)
I too can not thank Melissa enough. I love all the photos and it was great to be able to work on a slide show with them. Love you Melissa.
