I Don't Know how she did it!
Up until the last few weeks Brody hadn't really been sick. I figured once it came it wouldn't be easy. I am very much a worrier as you all probably know or have noticed. My girlfriends kids were sick it seemed like the first two months of the year. I mean really sick. I kept thinking I don't know how she is dealing with it. I knew it was hard. Here it's been about 3 weeks and I feel like I am loosing it. I feel soooo bad for Brody. The poor little guy now has the stomach flu. He just got over the ear infections probably last week. He has been running a fever all day and had diarrhea. For me it's been one of the hardest things to watch my son be sick. I feel so helpless. He screamed the WHOLE time we were at the Dr.'s, not just crying but screaming like crazy. He has refused to eat all day. We rocked in the chair for awhile today and watched Singing in the Rain and that was kind of fun and relaxing. He was pretty content and I could tell enjoyed the music. I guess that is all I know to do is just hold him and love him. My poor little guy.

I am sure it was hard for her too. It was always hard for me, always worried when you girls for sick for any reason. I rememeber once with Melody I was so scared I called grandma from the hospital. Did not even wait till I got home, and we did not have cell phones then. I t is very hard on moms.
oh sad...whos kids were sick?
Sarah's kids were really sick at the beginning of the year. It was actually for the first 3 months. One or the other would be sick and I believe she had a couple of trips to the ER. Poor girl.
It is so hard to watch your baby suffer and know you can't do anything about it. Just keep giving him fluids and lots of love.
